Team Nicaragua: Clinic Day 1

Praise God! Most important take away from today- We gained a new sister in Christ today in El Viejo! We traveled a long way with the intent to serve the people of Nicaragua, and in return, we were blessed beyond measure.

Today we set up clinic at an oasis in a poverty-stricken community. The example this church set by going outside the church walls to invite surrounding communities was a true testimony of the life Jesus calls us to live!

God united and enabled 19 individuals to serve 141 patients today. It was a glimpse into what God can do in our lives when we step aside and allow him to work.
The translators working with us are top-notch. We could not do this mission without them or the OneWorld Health Nicaraguan team. They’ve quickly become friends and hopefully lifelong relationships.

We were hot. We were a tad dehydrated and we are exhausted but so excited to do it all over again tomorrow!
