Team Costa Rica: Clinic Day 5

Today was the last day of clinic and we finished strong for sure! The day started off with an amazing devotional on vulnerability and a beautiful rendition of happy birthday (sung in Spanish mind you) to kick off my 23rd year!

This was the second day in La Carpio and it ran much smoother than yesterday. The fact that it was cooler helped the flow and our sanity as well. There were several diagnoses throughout the week that patients received that may have not been discovered if we weren’t able to reach the places we have.

This week was full of trying yet joyful times and I am so thankful for my team that pulled together when the stomach nonsense hit me like a train yesterday (the craziest day of clinic at that).
