Team Costa Rica: Clinic Day 2
At devotional we talked about community and the importance of it to individual well being. Even though we’re still at the start of this journey, strong connections are already being formed. Throughout the day I noticed others laughing and joking with people who were strangers just days ago, and others were deep in conversation getting to know each other. We all share a common goal: to serve others. And today it truly showed what our OneWorld Health community can do when we come together.
When we arrived at the facility, we weren’t sure how to maneuver the different stations. We were working in a local church opened by the pastor to help us serve his local community. The pace was very fast but with everyone working together and communicating, we were able to see over 100 patients. We had more time today to interact with the local kids. During short breaks volunteers were able to toss a ball around and play with kids in front of the clinic. Even with a language barrier, they were able to connect with kids on a different level. This trip, only 3 days in, has been rewarding, humbling and emotional. I look forward to what tomorrow holds.

Greetings…Regan Here! ❤
Team Costa Rica ventured to a community where we fellowshipped with the locals by showing love, support, and service.
During our time, we all felt connected in many ways. With friendly faces, listening ears, and opened hearts we humbly worked together to fill the needs of our brothers and sisters.
The local pastor blessed our efforts as a team and expressed sincere appreciation for our service. With each day that passes I eagerly look forward to new adventures.
