Yesterday, we spent the morning seeing patients at the clinic in Sébaco. We were welcomed by the clinic staff and were able to supplement the care they provide to their patients. While the setup was quite tricky (we set up shop in the street) we were able to see around 130 patients. We said goodbye to our amazing translators from the week and headed to the beach. We spent most of the afternoon on the bus traveling through Friday afternoon traffic in Managua, but we had some awesome views of the sunset over the mountains. We arrived at the hotel and had a nice dinner with snapper.

Yesterday’s word was joy. It sure has been a week full of joy from watching the kids smile after having teeth extracted or seeing the smile when someone puts on reading glasses for the first time, we certainly are leaving here filled with joy from these dear friends we had the pleasure to serve this week.

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.” (Philippians 2:1-2)
